Deine Lakaien

When I first heard the voice of Veljanov on a gothic sampler I was pretty much spellbound. He really is  a good singer and on this particular sampler there was nobody even remotely in his league (excepting Sigrid Hausen, who is no competition for Veljanov on account of being a female singer ;-)), which made him stand out all the more.

But 18 months ago, I believed in every clichee about the dark scene one commonly believes in and worried myself sick about whose lackeys Deine Lakaien wanted to be. It took me many interviews with the sirs to convince me that they were rather philanthropical inclined and not likely to start worshipping satan the next day. By the time I was done with interview reading I thought they were probably rather nice persons as well as good muscians.
A new fan was born, I guess, although I still do not really know what a good fan is supposed to do since I am not in the habit of throwing my underwear  at strangers ;-) I think I'll settle for just liking the music.
