My Blackfield 2015

This time it wasn't mainly for Deine Lakaien that I ventured out onto a Dark Festival. This time, I went to see and listen to the stunning Michelle Darkness, who has a marvellous voice which can be a perfect double of the diseased Peter Steele, if he so chooses. He once did a full cover of Type O Negative's October Rust ...
For the fun of it, I went to the signing of The End of Green and met plenty of middle-aged goth women, fan-girlying like no good.

Like always, however, his singing was what drew people into his thrall. The mostly loud, hard harmonies, easily dominated by his flexible, powerful voice was as if to show some others how it ought to be done.
